3. It was the most amazing and fun experience I’ve ever had!

I showed up with a few trials under my belt, but had never gotten up. Luckily, I was paired up with Mark as my instructor. He was extremely patient and had a great sense of humor which made every lesson a positive learning experience, with the perfect balance of professionalism and fun.

Mark was eager to share his love for kiting and knows how to get you to fly (even if you lack natural grace and finesse like me). I progressed from face planting to successful waterstarts and riding across the water. He even took some pictures and videos for me so I have proof!

I just can’t recommend Mark enough! He was so easy to get along with and enjoying his company in addition to the instruction took the experience to the highest level. I can't wait to come back!

With their excellent teaching (and a lot of patience), I got up during the 4th session, and look forward to moving beyond beginner stage. I booked my lessons directly with them through their site. We held a sea... read more urchin and live conch. We also learned about the importance and uniqueness of the mangroves. Heads up you can only do tour during high tide, which changes everyday so look at that or call ahead to plan. If you want to take pictures you must act fast and have a waterproof camera or go pro. We would absolutely go again.

  The best of long bay  - Provo is the oldest kite school on the island and it truly showed why! True professionals from the front office to the instructors. Would recommend whole heartedly to anyone interested... read more in learning this amazing sport

  Fantastic, Fun, and Successful Kiteboarding Experience for My 3 Sons! - My three sons (ages 24, 23, and 15) had never kiteboarded before and were excited to try. Jay was a phenomenal instructor! All 3 of them were able... read more to learn how to do it and all got up and went in their first lesson! The communication leading up to the lesson was thorough and perfect. Their directions to find their location were precise and made it super easy to get to the lesson. I would highly recommend Kite Provo...they were fantastic, taught them how to kiteboarding quickly and safely, while making them laugh and have fun throughout the lesson!

Both were right there if you had any problems.

By the way, since our family of 8 ranged from my 91 year old mother to 25 year old kids, we stayed at Club Med and had all our meals together. Then with a rental car four of us would drive the 7 minutes to Long Bay for kiting each day. It worked out really well.
